(26 People Likes) How do teachers feel when a student accidentally calls them mom/dad?

the students in my class were at my house visiting my daughter on the weekend. I knew their parents both as friends and in a professional capacity. Often my students would call me “mum” and we would laugh about it. It was quite funny. Even now that my daughter is in Year 9 I still hear her friends laughing about the times they called me “mum” after I bring plates of treats into her room for them to share. My children have also often called their teachers “mum” and other teacher’s children Real Doll ave called me “mum”. It all gets rather messy when you teach at the school your children attend.
When I taught Middle School I found it interesting that a number of the troubled students called me “mum” accidentally. They would often looked quite shocked and embarrassed as they are usually trying pretty hard to look cool at that age. Calling your teacher “mum” totally shatters any facade of tough guy street cred you’re trying to build your reputation on. I would usually diffuse the situation by saying something vaguely humourous like “sure, I can fake it if it means you finish your work.” This usually meant the situation ended in giggles and no feelings were hurt. But on a deeper level I felt extremely privileged that these students who often came from a life of chaos saw me as an anchor of stability. Even when students come from a loving home, when they call you “mum” it demonstrates that they trust you and feel comfortable with you. When you have that relationship with your students you’re in the prime position to maximise the learning opportunities.
I now teach Year 12, once an 18 year old student called me “mum”. We just laughed at this. I told him I was a terrible parent and he could do better, which had the whole class in fits of laughter. To me that demonstrated the vulnerability and trust even our oldest students have in us and how critical it is for me to honour that trust and be the best darned teacher I can possibly be.
I do wonder how their parents would feel if they knew I’d been bestowed with the haloed title of “mum”. Would they feel a sense of betrayal? Would I be perceived as “competition”? Could it unearth buried feelings of inadequacy as a parent, or perhaps trigger memories of past betrayals? This innocent misnomer has the potential to open many wounds. I usually stay quiet on the matter and leave it up to the students if they want to disclose the event. I’ve had parents joke with me about how their child called me mum, but for some it could become a traumatic event. As a teacher I’m in a relationship with the parents as much as with the students. Often parents need more support than students on certain challenging issues. If the students want to disclose it that’s fine, but I would rather be a source of reconciliation than disruption.
So how do I

(47 People Likes) Is being ugly okay for a girl while trying to make epals?

nd asked for a picture of me, to which I complied because I am used to being ghosted right afterwards at this point anyway. I sent in a nice picture (photographing is one of the things I get a kick out of doing and I am basically a professional albeit I don't do it for a job) and he didn't reply to that nor my next message for the following three days… he reappeared only on the fourth day and, guess what? He asked for a few more pictures, to which I replied by stating I could see no point in such a thing considering he'd seen what I looked like already. I haven't heard from him since then.
Once I was so annoyed at being chatted to only to be left behind right upon showing my picture that I chose for myself “ugly girl” as a username, so that they might know and leave right away before I had to engage energy in what would end up being a waste of time once I'd shown myself. I asked where the guy was from and he ignored the question only to ask one himself: “How ugly are you?”. I pointed out to him it is proper behaviour to reply to questions before asking one ourselves, but he insisted, “Hasn't my question reached you?”. I replied with a laughing emoji, insisting it was probably the other way around seeing how he wasn't going to answer, and asked my question again. After that, he left in seconds flat.
Once I spent the whole day having this dead hilarious conversation with another guy on a chat site first and on Skype by the end of the day. The following day he messaged me in the morning, and I replied. He sent a picture and asked to see me “out of curiosity”, he said. I complied and he said my face looked like that a man. I said that yes, I got that a l class="nturl" style="color: red">mini sex doll t, and he said he would be texting me later because he had something to cater for at the moment. I didn't hear from him for days, and tried messaging him but- noticed he'd blocked and deleted me.
Another guy recently laughed at my face on Hangouts saying it was a good thing I was allergic to make-up and didn't like it else I might be mistaken for a ladyboy. Thence onward, his messages became way more relaxed, rude and he was always making jokes about my looks. I got annoyed at some point and told him to give it a rest because it was the same stuff over and over again, as I suggested for the conversation to move on to something else. He got majorly irked at that, said “haha… yeah right” and blocked me.
(I hid a few languages there because I don't want certain people who might come across this to know)
Smiling naturally without giving it any thought won't help either (I don't have crooked teeth).

No matter that you got long hair in a feminine haircut, nor does anything change when you dye it:
Some like to suggest ugly women with a nice body can at least find an “incel” who will gladly hook up with her (as if being deemed good enough as to fulfill an occasional job as a stranger's inflatable doll could equal being acknowledged as a human being worthy of attention anyway): that's not true at all, not that I would be interested of course. On that same note, not even kinks on the web will stoop to my level:

le get these dolls. For some, it's easier to live with a doll instead of an actual person.
You can't blame anyone for that when you see how realistic the dolls fromhttps://www.elovedolls.com/nlp/realistic-sex-dolls/
are. I checked the we high end sex dolls site out after reading about it on https://www.quora.com/Why-are-female-sex-dolls-more-popular-than-male-sex-dolls. I was surprised at the quality and variety of dolls.
These Love Dolls are getting better all the time. I can see a future where you won't be able to tell the difference between a real person and a doll. They're not that realistic yet, but it's crazy how fast they'r

Well, needless to say, this pandemic intervened. He was relentless, however, in trying to figure out something special to do for my birthday, and he succeeded admirably.
He arranged for a private Zoom concert with Ari Hest (if you haven’t heard his music, you should check it out), whom we have been listening to for almost 20 years (one of his latest successes has been a duet with Judy Collins of a song he composed) for us and our friends to celebrate my birthday.
It was heavenl

types” so far;
Emitter - This is by far the most common type of quirk; they involve the generation and/or control of things outside the users own body. For example, Bakugo’s Explosion or Yaoyorozu’s Creation. Both of these happen to use materials that are basically generated FROM the body of the user, but the actual object or effect takes place outside the body all the same.
Transformation - This type of quirk is one where the actual body of it’s user, upon activation of the quirk, is altered in some way. Examples of this are Kirishima’s Hardening or Iida’s Engine. These quirks happen to alter the physical appearance of the user when activated, on top of making whatever their underlying ability is activate. In the case of Iida, for instance, his calves will sprout small engines which then allow him to move at incredible speeds.
Mutant - Otherwise known as heteromorphic quirks. These are the rarest of them all, and tend to manifest in the form of visible mutations or alterations to the body that themselves are aspects of their ability. Examples would be Ojiro’s Tail and Tsuyu’s Frog. Typically these quirks are permanently active and also immune to Erasure.
Certain quirks fall in to a sub-type known as Accumulation; these require a buildup of some sort before they can be activated. Examples are Fat Absorption, as well as One For All, and Rewind…
On to the invisible problem. The common assumption about Toru’s quirk is that it’s a heteromorphic one due to it being (apparently) permanently active. For this reason it’s also assumed that her quirk would be immune to Erasure. This is an unknown because I don’t actually recall any instance where Aizawa would have actually attempted to use his quirk on her. The reason I don’t necessarily agree with her being immune to Erasure, however, is due to the nature of the Mutant quirk type. Every single instance of a mutant quirk also brings with it very distinct and noticeable physical mutations. I’d say Tsuyu and her Frog quirk are by far the most “normal” in physical appearance, but even still she has some fairly notable frog-like aspects to her that are obvious enough that she wouldn’t be mistaken for a quirkless person just by looking at her.
Toru is difficult to judge in this regard though. We can’t actually tell what she looks like beyond whatever clothing she happens to be wearing. The other thing that’s somewhat different is that the physical mutations of all other Mutant quirks are directly tied to the actual abilities of the quirk user. high end sex dolls There’s not exactly any sort of “physical” mutation that I can imagine which would allow a person to be invisible.
All told, I suspect that Toru doesn’t have a Mutant quirk at all. What I think she does have is an Emitter quirk that, for whatever reason, she’s unable to deactivate. This may be due to an issue of control, or it could be the result of some trauma, either physical or psychological. Kind of like how Cyclops (X-Men) is unable to control his power and is forced to rely on special glasses or a visor.
So I guess, long story short, my own opinion on the matter is different from the standard answer. I may well be wrong, but I suspect that if Erasure WERE to be used on Toru she would probably become visible for the duration. I also suspect that if My Hero Academia was a
